If the bacteria and other organisms are not removed, the pockets can fill up and cause the gums to weaken. Dental clinics use a variety of different methods to treat these problems. Most clinics offer dental procedures, including cleaning, scaling and filling. You will probably have your teeth cleaned by a professional dentist to remove the bacteria and plaque from the teeth.
